LinkI shall explain how all of this works, so most of you wont be confused.
So, if you haven't noticed yet, Carter, Chitty's, and Aiko's skin colour is white. If your wondering why, it's because their all phantoms of some sort, but theres a catch. They can still eat, drink and just you know do anything that a normal human would do.
Now, I'm gonna take Carter's death for example.
Before he died, he was a normal living being, but when he died from a heart-attack at his church, his phantom/ghost left his body and became solid and human like in a way (very hard to explain and to lazy too-) and when he was getting put into his coffin and put into his grave, his phantom/ghost left his body and came alive, it was weird at first, but he became used to it more and more he lived in his new body.
Now, you may have some questions.
1) "How does that work?"
2) "Does he age still?"
3) "Does his body ever age?"
I may not answer those questions in a way you think I am but I'm answering them anyway.

-Age was 20
It was the afternoon, and he was at church normally until he started to have a pain in his chest and his blood pressure started to rise..until his vision started to blur. What was happening? Was he dying? Yes, he was.
He had died that day, nobody noticed he was dead until the end of church.
Aiko
-Died 2016
-Age was 12
Aiko usually had a interest in feminine clothing, and was wearing a skirt that day. So, after a long day at school, they walked home, alone.
Their adrenaline was pumping a little faster than normal, since they where alone, they didn't know what happened and didn't know who if anyone was following them. So, they decided to try to take a different route just in-case. Once they did, they where took out of no where and beaten and shot at.
Chitty
-Died 2017
-Age was 16
Chitty, loved streaming on twitch, and with streaming comes with alot of pros and cons.
That particular day this dude was spamming and harassing Chitty to do some inappropriate things that happens from time and time again and after Chitty politely denied and banned the dude from his chat, things where gonna go down, really badly..
That night while Chitty was sleep, the man in the chat broke in Chitty's house and stabbed him right in the middle of his face.
