The young woman trembled in the building, the air growing colder and colder to the point she was able to see her shallow puffs of air. She held her crucifix tightly to her chest, tears streaking down her face as she clenched her eyes shut. A prayer sputtered from her lips, “Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name-“ before she was able to complete the first part of the prayer, a bang and footsteps could be heard. Her heart dropped as she heard someone else’s breaths, growing closer and closer. She simply spoke louder as she continued, “thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us-“ she collapsed to the ground on her hands and knees, sobbing out as she heard the footsteps approaching quicker, “lead us not to temptation, but deliver us from evil! Our Father who art-“ She was cut off abruptly when something snatched her raven pony tail. Her eyes were screwed shut as a raspy voice breathed into her face, the smell of sulfur mixed

With cigar smoke hit her nostrils, “Do you really think he’ll listen to a pathetic scrap like you?” There was a pause as she sniffled and gasped for air, “our Father-“ The being howled in her face in it’s raspy accent, “Look at me! Look at me! Your God doesn’t want you- just as your family never did-“ the being grabbed her wrists, causing her to drop the crucifix with a clatter. “And by the looks of it.. you didn’t even want to be yourself.” She felt nails run across the old scars around her arms. The woman trembled before slowly opening her eyes, staring at the being before her. It was a gigantic man, one with hideous scars lining his face, red eyes piercing her soul. His yellow fingernails sunk into her arm as he grinned slightly. She sputtered out, “you have no power over me- you’re not real-“ The being grinned at the response he received from the woman and lifted her wrist to his face before running his serpent like tongue along her scars, a burning sensation arising in her arm.

Another thing ivan does,, basically as a mockery to Christians, he tries to mess with things relating to their faith Aka Blaring old hymns over unplugged/turned off radios, turning on old old services on TVs talking about the devil, appearing around churches etc Basically he’s got a hatred towards Christ aka that’s why he was condemned to hell.
