LinkYour oc helped out at a farm for a family. The family who owned the house was a single mother and her two daughters. You helped around the farm, and you got free housing, food, and whatever else.
The family was completely normal, but you started seeing the youngest child, less. You kept on trying to talk to her, but she always seemed to ignore you or answer you in short answers before leaving back to her room. It was strange; she was a social girl so why she was so reclusive was strange. (I promise this is important later bbgs)
You went out with friends and you got back to the building late at night, but when you get back you see flames. The house had been on fire, and you saw The mother and the oldest outside the house, but Natalie wasn't there. The mother was convinced she had lost her child, but just ask you go to ask questions Makayla ran into the house. Leaving your oc and the mother of the two girls.

"Well that's a bit concerning, wouldn't thou agree?"
"Yeah, but what should I do? Help my kid? I didn't sign up for this when I signed the birth certificate." The mother shrugged. She seemed panicked but in so much shock it was hard for her to even seem caring.
"I wouldn't suppose thou'rt very fireproof? Seems unlikely that either of us can do much."
"yeah, nothing but hope really.." the mom nodded. You could see something moving from the corner of you eye it seemed like a person starting to back away from the house.
"-Although the kids might be. Is that one of them, just o'er there?" She gestured toward the figure.
The mom looked over and shook her head.
"Oh lord that girl is not going to make it past today." The mother walked toward the figure
"Ma'am, that child is immune to fire. Might we reserve judgement for later?"
"I'm going to ****ing kill her I don't care at all." the mom continued.
"-she's a ****ing goddess, for all we know. She might as well be the angel of death. And what would you do, if she were? What would she do to you?"
"Then I'd be ****ed. I also refuse any MISTAKE like that freak cloud is a goddess of any sort."
The figure backed away more.
"Madam, might we also reserve the horrific parenting? I don't entirely believe it's quite necessary."
"You rotten wench. Can anything get through that thick skull of thine? I can hardly believe any man thought to let thee bear children."
"mhm yeah whatever." the mother seemed like a complete stranger... and also the weird figure its gone. The house creaked as well the woods seemed to be giving out but there was no sign of either of the girls.
"I've met far too many akin to thee, in behaviour. All of them died irksome, slow deaths. So, may I ask you this?"
"Wouldst thou like to join that list, alongside thy kindred? Another one, as kind of heart as they. Thou wouldst fit alongside them, perfectly."
"Then don't fit so flawlessy with those on it. Contradict it. Be a good mother, goddamnit."
the mother didnt reply, and suddenly one part of the house gave in... luckily part of it was left, but it was now up to luck the two girls were alive in the house
"Well then," She faced the crumbling house, "I don't suppose the straggler would be foolish enough to climb back in the house, but one may remain within nonetheless."
"I may not be fireproof, but gods be damned if they think I can stand idle any longer. I'm going in."

phriancis: y'know for a mother you could be a bit more caring for your children......*looked at her then started walking to the burning house*
"I know, but if you choose to go in be a careful dude." The mother called.
In the building it was filled with dark smoke, you could hear creaking from the roof and a ton of coughing followed by a soft voice.
Phrancis: *put her arm over her mouth and ran upstairs to get to the roof*
As you made it there you could see a silhouette of someone leaning on a wall and having a coughing fit. The floors were hot strangely the fire has yet to get to the roof though it probably won't do too well considering this house was originally made in the 1920s.
"god" a cough interrupted "-ing damn it where are you nat..." it was Makayla's voice no doubt
They turned around and let you and coughed. It was getting hotter now... Makayla walked over very slowly.
"I ****ing cant-/ Its.. I just-/ where-/ is she.." she spoke coughing in between words
Phrancis: Makayla, stop talking.... *walked up to her and picked her up* now let's get you out... *starting to walk out* I'll find her
"no... I gotta find her.. she's my sister.." Makayla was struggling to talk or even support herself upon closer look she was bleeding a lot.
Phrancis: You'll get hurt *turned her head and coughed a bit while running out the house* I'll find her.... She'll be safe with me
"But..." Makayla was going to speak but coughed and just nodded agreeing
Phrancis: *carried her out of the house and once she dropped her off by her mom she booked it back in the house*

While looking you get a glance at a window... it seemed there was someone out there alone.

“Are you two okay that was one heck of a fire wait where the other sister is she still in the house or what like we can’t just stand here”
Makalya ran off into the house, and the Mother looked at them
"I've called the fire department, but... they are taking a hell of the time getting here... and I don't think Makalya is going to make it but the other kid I don't really know or care to even hope." The mother spoke.
“Do you even care that one of them could be dead and don’t give two f what type of mother are you”
"A one that still wins custody. Maybe that can give you a view on the man who raised them." the mother laughed and coughed and wiped her mouth.
"and No I don't give a flying **** about the youngest one it was a ****-up." The mother smiled it seemed as she was showing her true colors. You also see a figure backing away from the house.
“Screw this if your not I’m going in there to see if their still In alive cause at least I care about other people live “

“I’m sorry but I need to get you out f here so I’m gonna have carry you out of the house ok” starts running out of house
"Are you guys ok?! Is anyone hurt?" Zeena said, concerned "I'll go get help if I need to!"
"We've called the fire men, but... they are taking a hell of the time getting here..." The mother spoke.
"yeah... I hope Makayla will survive that the other one would be great to live too." the mother smiled
