satanism is (usually) less of an actual religion and more of an ideology
its centered around treating urself as ur own god, being kind to others, not bowing down to a higher power
lots of anarchy-like ideals im pretty sure
in the bible (as far as im aware) lucifer(or satan?) turned on God, a higher power, which is where the name comes from
