“Dad, why can’t I go with H and Shadowshifter to the Night Kingdom for a week?” a young SeaWing dragonet asked. “I told you already, you had to ask your mother.” a large SeaWing with a thin gold crown and six claws said. “Ask me about what?” a beautiful SeaWing walked in. “Mom! Can I pleeeeeease go and visit H and Shadowshifter? Pleeeease!” the dragonet looked at her. “Aks your father.” The queen did not like to answer these questions because she could never make up her mind. “But he said to ask you!” the dragonet whined. The six clawed king shrugged. “If your guard goes with you-” “But he’s annoying!!!” the dragonet cried. “He may be a bit overbearing but he will keep you safe.” The dragonet pouted. “Otherwise, you can stay here with me and attend all my council meetings.” the queen suggested. The dragonet sighed. “Fine.” she snapped.

pt 2: “And that's it for today class.” a dark Nightwing dismissed his small group of NightWing students. The tired looking dragonets grabbed their scrolls and chatted as they walked out, but they walked faster when an odd IceWing stepped in. “Not now Shattered, I have to get ready for next class.” the tall NightWing said without looking up from his scroll writing. “Awww, too busy for even little old me?” the deranged IceWing asked. “Yes very much so.” the NightWing replied. He then got a big grin on his long face. No more than five seconds later a black and greenish RainWing ran into the IceWing. “Sorry about that Shattered.” the busy RainWing said. “Starshifter! The queen needs to see you immediately.” the RainWing said. The wise NightWing slithered past the odd IceWing with a relieved yet smug grin. The IceWing grinned back and ran his large claws along the NightWing’s body as he passed. The RainWing shuddered.The NightWing took no notice of it, but stopped dead. He had just seen a terrible future, or-
