my grandma let me name her birds so I named them pesto, oreo, and cream (they're all budgerigars I think)
Pesto was a green and white
Oreo was a black and white
And cream was like a yellowish white color
not the most original names but they make sense in my opinion

idrk much about birds but both my grandma's had some and when i lived with my grandma from my dads side they would wake me up in the morning like my alarm clock until my grandma got rid of hers and idk where they are

tbh i think birds and fish are underrated pets cus I grew up with both
and on the topic of pets, my 6th grade ela teacher had a bunch of turtles! I don't remember their names but I think one was Shelly and the other after one of the tmnt turtles

LinkI love pets sm I agree with you fish and birds are so cool, they do take more work in my opinion. My old principal also had a pet turtle whose name was also shells I think it was a red eared slider.

LinkLol I agree I remember when we changed their tank (took the entire day) but I found some stuff to put in the tank! only one fish remains in the tank to this day. it's those kissy fish ones (rip Oscar and the other tiny fish that had a butt ton of babies) also ADORABLE I LOVE THE NAME SHELLS AND I LOVE THOSE TURTLES
