HiddenJay, then Hiddenkit, loved her siblings and mother more than anything in the world. From dawn to dusk she would play with her siblings and let her mother tell her stories and whisper gentle words into her ears as she drifted into sleep every night. Life seemed perfect. Until the accident. A innocent prank between kits had gone horribly wrong when a bird feather had been accidentally forced into Hiddenkit's eye, the infection causing her to soon go blind in both. Losing her eyesight had thrown her into such a distressed state that she began to hallucinate the last thing she saw in her dreams : the feather of a blue Jay, blurry and covered with blood. Her mother too was experiencing similar emotions and soon drifted away from her. One day another older kit began to spread rumors and the lies manipulated the other kits to go against Hiddenkit, even her own siblings. The insults and bullying got so bad to the point that she reacted with claws, shockingly landing a blind blow on a much bigger kit and thus-

- receiving the scar on her muzzle. Seasons passed and as she grew, the more distant from her clan she began to drift. The childhood bullying didn't stop. Then one day. She snapped. She lured one of the kit, then a apprentice, into the night by figuring out a way to control the Blue jays in the forest and making them stay in the camp so a apprentice unable to sleep would follow it in hopes of a midnight meal. Yet the feathers of the bird would contain sharp thorns that would cut paws and make it harder to walk once the bird was pounced on or hit. Once the cat was wounded did she make her kill, swiftly and silently. That was the first time she had killed a cat. The murders continued and no cat suspected her due to her being blind, but the murderess didn't need her eyesight to kill a cat. Her senses that were honed to perfection would do it for her.
