LinkIt should block someone’s ip so if they log out or make new accounts or log onto previous ones it blocks them
And if they just search yo username in like recent it should be like “blocked content”

can i be entirely honest. i trust zero percent of this site with a block button even though i feel like itd be really helpful if i could
this might just be me but i know at least 3 popular users would block absolutely anyone they could in order to keep their rep, plus all the regular people that would also definitely do that, and they'd get away with pretty much anything. if someone's giving you anxiety and you want to stop seeing their profile i think a "hide profile" option would be better for that or like,, a way to make it harder for certain people to access your profile if you want to discourage it, idk, but unless there's mods making sure that nobody's killing eachother and getting away with a ton of shit via a blocking feature i really cant see this happening and it being a good thing
I actually get what @Himbocat is saying, (didnt want to reply because i didnt wanna chain,) and i agree, a hide profile option would be nice.
But in my opinion, i think there could be a different way to program the block button. Instead of just hiding the profile from the blocked person, maybe it could make it so that specific blocked person couldnt comment, follow, or interact with the person who blocked them's profile. As well as adding the "hide profile" idea so you wouldnt have to interact with that person at all.
Though i could see how the idea that i just gave out could end up being used in a bad way, so i completely understand how somebody else's idea could be better.
Again, I do agree with what Himbocat said, though.
Yeah, I agree. I think Flipanim would be a little bit safer. But on the other hand, someone bad could block you from trying to tell them to stop being mean so, eh. There's a few kinks, but its an idea.
