im muslim but i agree-
we send prayers to ppl because we believe in go and we want them to be safe but if nobody wants it than dont bother them.

not everyone appreciates being prayed for
not everyone wants it
and someone people (like myself) usually are upset by it because it's like to you we need someone who we've never seen before to come and save us or get us to see ourselves repent for our sins
which is just wrong
if someone asked to be prayed for then fine, do that
they're asking for it
but to say "im gonna pray for you even if you don't like it/want it" is an asshole move and you know it
so unless someone asks you to pray for them, for whatever reason, don't do that
just don't
