Evelyn was sitting on another bench by herself crying, her best friend had just been raped and killed and she was heartbroken, she had not eaten for 4 days now. (I always like to make things as dramatic as I can lol)

She looked up in shock, when she saw him she was scared, obviously traumatised by what happened to her best friend. "Um, hi" she said, she was trying to act calm.

She was confused for a second, but figured it out "Oh, uh, well no not really" she admitted

"No, it's fine" she said "um, well my best friend has, um, passed away" she said, leaving out the rest of it. She scooched up on the seat a bit, needing space away from someone else

"Mhm" she sniffled "sh-she was raped and then mu-murdered" she burst into tears

She noticed this "you know, you don't have to do anything, having you come up to me even made my day a bit better" she forced a smile to try and reassure him

She accepted it. "Yeah that'd be lovely, thank you" she said, a real smile now forming on her broken face

"Uhh I don't know, you can choose?" she asked. She was happier than ever with this boy.

She hopped up and followed him "you know if you want to do something else, you can, I can cope by myself" she said, although she wasn't so sure

She smiled back and replied "thank you" he was her light, the light that hadn't shone in ages

She sat opposite him "I can pay if you want?" She offered She was delighted by the smell of food

"Thank you, again" She read the menu. She passed the menu back to Christian once she had decided

She nodded at Christian, letting him know he could order first

She looked at the waiter nervously "Uh, could I please have a milkshake and uh a small brownie please" she asked The waiter wrote it down and nodded, walking off "I hope you don't mind me ordering a brownie, uh, I haven't really eaten"

She just smiled The waiter returned with the drinks and the brownie. She grabbed her drink and passes Christian his. She split her brownie in half. "Want some?" She asked

She ate her brownie hungrily, sighing at the taste. "Mm" she praised "this is delicious" she stated She sipped her drink, spilling a bit down her tshirt "oopsyyyy" she she she cooed, giggling at the end

"Why are you staring at me, creep" she joked

She snickered loudly earning a few glares from other customers "it's fine I was joking!"

"I'm sorry-" she apologised

She drank more of her milkshake and tried not to spill it this time. She sighed "wow, I hate the music I here" she commented. The song was 'Call me maybe' by Carly Rae jepson

"Oh my god really?" She said in utter exitment "how?" She asked (And all the other boyss they try to chaseee me but here's my number, so call me baby))

"Ok!" She walked up to the dj "Can you please play sk8ter boi by Avril Lavigne? Thank you" she asked the dj She ran happily back "eeeeeeee!!" She was literally so happy (This would literally be me lmao, also gtg now so I'll finish tmrw, bye!)

She plopped back down into her seat cobtenly
