Chapter One- Breezestar led her cats towards Fourtrees. Her mate, Redshadow, walked on her left flank. On her right was her apprentice. Fogpaw was only 7 moons old and reminded Breezestar of herself. So she had decided to mentor the young gray she-cat herself. "Riverclan and ShadowClan are already there." Redshadow meowed, his nose twitching. "I'm glad we're not the last ones." Breezestar meowed, she flicked her tail and led SkyClan down the slope. "Greetings Breezestar. And Fogpaw, my you've grown." Elmstar of Riverclan nodded his respects. He was always the friendly-est of the leaders. Breezestar had always respected him. Shrubstar of ShadowClan wasn't the friendly-est. He wasn't nice, but not harsh. Kind of anti social. The dark gray tom sat on the far side of the great rock. His pelt barely visible in the shadow of one of the great oaks. "I'm glad to see you've recovered." Shrubstar grunted not looking her way.

"As are we." Breezestar recognized Brindlestar's voice. The dappled WindClan leader made her way down the slope and toward the great rock. Redshine, and Palewhisker followed. Palewhisker made her way over to Shallowpool, the RiverClan medicine cat and Snailstripe, the ShadowClan medicine cat. Redshine stayed away from Redshadow. Breezestar had noticed the tension between the two deputies. She thought it was kinda cute how they were both named for their red pelts. Breezestar leaped up onto the Great Rock. "We only wait for ThunderClan." Brindlestar grunted leaping up after her. "We are here." A low growl sounded from the side of the clearing where ThunderClan normaly made their entrance. Breezestar expected to see Woodstar but instead saw his deputy, Prickleclaw. "Where's Woodstar?" Breezestar asked when Prickleclaw leaped onto the great rock. "He passed away tragicly. Slaughtered by a dog." Prickleclaw meowed sadly, "Of course we chased it off. I am now Pricklestar."

"Woodstar was a great leader." Elmstar meowed gently, "He will live on in our hearts." "He was. And I will do what I can to continue his wishes." Pricklestar diped his head. "Peace is everycats wish." Shrubstar growled, "A wish only lasts so long." Breezestar knew Shrubstar was wise and she should not take his words lightly." Pricklestar cleared his throat, "Shall we begin?" "We shall." Breezestar meowed, "I'll go first if no one has any objections." Elmstar shook his head and stepped back, "SkyClan has a new apprentice. And two new warriors. Fogpaw, Lightstep, and Dusktail." Fogpaw seemed to shrink back when her name was called. Her mother, Stormfrost, licked her ear and meowed something soothing.

"Fogpaw, Lightstep, Dusktail!" The gathered cats cheered. When the yowls died down Breezestar contiued, "We also bring bad news. One of our elders, Creamdaisy, my mother, has joined StarClan." Elmstar gave her a sympathetic look, "I am sorry." "Don't be. She's happy with our ancestors." Breezestar looked at the stars. "She was a wise cat." Brindlestar meowed, "Let her hear our voices!" "Creamdaisy! Creamdaisy! Creamdaisy!" The clan cats voices rose to the stars. These were not happy cheers. But ones of grief and sadness. "Creamdaisy!" Breezestar yowled as loud as she could.

The yowls died down and Breezestar stepped back. Pricklestar took her place. "I have chosen Applepuddle to be my deputy." He called. A red and white tom stood up and puffed up his chest, "My sister, Thornstem has gifted the clan with three knew kits. Shatteredkit, Stonekit, and Shadekit." Pricklestar went on, "We have chased a dog out of our territory but we warn you that it may return. Guard your camps well." "Hmph!" Redshine scoffed, "Shadowclan is always well gaurded." She flicked her long red tail bitterly. Pricklestar ignored her and stepped back. Elmstar spoke next. "Riverclan has four new apprentices, Sparkpaw, Thrushpaw, Wildpaw, and Birdpaw." Elmstar flicked his tail to four young cats sitting next to Eagleclaw and Frostwolf. Three tortoiseshells and a ginger tabby. "Thrushpaw! Wildpaw! Sparkpaw! Birdpaw!" Cat cheered.
