Max kicks a pebble with a bored expression on his face,hands stuffed into the pockets of his hoodie
David sees Max with bored expression on his face alone. He decided to walk over to Max with a happy smile on his face "Hey Max! What are you doing all alone?" David asked
"About how great it is you're here at camp?" David said, in his normal cheerful attitude
"No. About how shit it is to be here and why i don't want to stay.",max flipped him off
David smile faltered a bit looking down at Max, he sighed "You know you're not allowed to curse and that behavior isn't acceptable." David said, thinking of something to cheer Max up
"Whatever 'david',good luck finding something that'll make me feel better",he grabbed mr.honeynuts and stomped off
"Oh, come on Max." David said, following Max "Help me out here, I want you to be happy here at camp."
"Hhhhhgh **** off david,thats what would make me happy",max frowns
"Tell me what's bothering you Max, I really wanna help. I wanna know why you don't like staying here at camp." David pushed on, still following Alex
Max huffs,"fine. You really wanna know why i hate this stupid camp?",he raises an eyebrow
"Tell me and I'll leave you alone. Promise." David said, stopping and waiting for Max's answer
"Maybe because i hate the thought of my parents just leaving me here forever",max holds tightly on Mr.Honeynuts
David stayed speechless for a second, thinking on how to respond to this. "N-No they didn't... They wouldn't do that." David said, trying convince Max, but also convince himself that two parents wouldn't just leave their kid
"You don't know that. You don't know my parents either.",Max turned away from david and sighs softly
David sighed and looked at Max not knowing what to do. "Well, you told me your reason... I might as well leave you alone now. Don't wander to off okay?" David said, before heading back to his cabin
Max ran off in the opposite direction,spotting daniel. He growls under his breath,"augh mother ****er-",max snapped
David continued walking back to his cabin, trying to stay positive despite what Max told him. He made it to his cabin and decided to brew some tea/coffee idk.
Daniel opens the cabin door and grins "hello david-" he greeted him,holding max by the hood
Max was practically punching and kicking the air
David saw Daniel and Max, he stood there confused. "H-Hello Daniel, why are you holding Max by the hood?" David asked
"I'm definitely not gonna poison him with my rat poisoned kool-aid",he tilts his head and smirks
"Well, that would be pretty bad if you do that Daniel, c-can you put Max down please?" David said, looking at Max then back at Daniel
David sighs and walks over to Daniel and Max "Please David?" David said
Daniel huffs and drops Max.
Max scrambles on his feet and quickly hides behind David
"Can i not visit an old friend?",he furrowed his eye brows innocently.
Max snaps,"Bullshit!"
"Max, language." David before looking back at Daniel, looking at him a bit skeptical
Max folded his arms and scoffs.
Daniel leans against the door frame
"Well... I guess there isn't any harm, you can stay as long you don't brainwash campers annd all that stuff." David said looking at Daniel, sheepish smile
Max groans,"NO DAVID. NO.",He grabs him by the arm and shakes him
David looks at Max "He could always change Max, I believe in second chances." David said
Max shook his head in disagreement,"No! You don't understand!",he hisses
David looks at Daniel then back at Max "Please? If I find anything shady then he'll leave alright?" David said
David smiled and looked back at Daniel "You're welcome to stay Daniel." David said in his happy cheery tone
Daniel smirks "thank you."
Max stuffs his hands in the pockets of his hoodie
David smiled at Daniel, really hoping this time Daniel is not going to be a sadistic **** and go on a killing spree at camp
"Don't come running to me when he starts shit againnnn" max adds
"Max, what did I say about the language?" David said, putting his hands on his hips looking down at Max
David shook his head and then look back Daniel, forgetting about Max for second
David saw Nerris and smiled "Hello Nerris, how are you doing?" David asked
Nerris looked up at david nervously,noticing daniel was next to him "..i'm okay-"
"Well that's great!" David said, happily and continued walking to check up on the other campers
David didn't notice the nervousness on Nerris's face and kept walking his way around camp and saw Gwen.
"Hello Gwen!" David said happily
Gwen about to reply until she saw Daniel with David "What the **** is he doing here?!"

Max: *he sits on his bed in his tent, staring at the ceiling* I'm so ****ing bored...
Neil nods,"i knowww..",he huffs
David walks in and grins widely,"goooooood morning campers!"
David ruffles max's hair,"aw cheer up max!",he smiles
Neil rolls his eyes
David chuckles lightly,"aren't you excited for today max? I'm sure you'll like at least one of the things i've planned"
David sighs softly,"max make it easier for the both of us. What would you like to do other than run away from camp?"
"Well. We we're going to go hiking,finger paint,go fishing and insect hunting-",David listed
David eventually had gotten max some food and smiles,handing it to him
"I'll see you around max",he finger guns and cheerfully walks off
"I'm just suprised you didn't start an argument with him",neil glanced back at him
