After all, he was just a five year old. “A-ah..Nagito…” Mother sniffled and wiped her eyes, “Hello…” Nagito climbed over the back of the couch and sat down next to his mother, holding out his bunny to her, “Me and Chocolate don’t like seeing you sad…” he murmured, “Chocolate wants to know if you want a hug” Mother gave a sad smile to her son, “I-I’m sorry, Nagito...And, yes, I’d like a hug…” Nagito leaned over and wrapped his arms around her, holding the brown bunny so it was also hugging her. He wished he knew what to do, maybe… Maybe this would’ve worked better… Eventually, Mother started to heal, though. She went back to playing games, went back to joking a

around. Sure, ther were some nights where Mother couldn’t stop crying and blaming herself, but Nagito thought he was getting somewhere… Helping her through…. Until *he* came along. Mother started to date a guy. He seemed nice at first, until he moved in. Then, he got worse and hit Nagito for doing normal kid act-up things. During that year, he got a dog named Hope, for some off reason. A year of them dating passed, and Mother joined in on the hitting. After that, more punishments were added. Whips, daggers, anything. Hell, his stepfather even ended up having sex with him as a punishment or whenever he got drunk and mother didn’t feel like dealing with that.

Well, anyway, after that all the money was buried with his parents, their will stated that Nagito was to go to the reserve course with whatever money he could scavenge. And…. He did. He lost his mansion, ended up letting his body get used for money, all just to build up so he could pay the school funds. All to the point he only had two pairs of clothing, a mattress, two chairs, a table, and a kitchen. Which...Didn’t contain any food. He just starved himself for a week before he allowed himself to eat. That’s how it worked now… That was the goddamn system
