LinkI saw smiles. Like I hide my own pain. Like I hide and shrivel up, at 4am, talking to people about depression, because I think they'll(my family) take me to an insane asylum if I talk. I know they won't but my head keeps me from saying how I feel. Don't hide.

it’s loss of motivation, not able to be happy (usually), etc.
it’s not just “oh i’m sad therefore i’m depressed”

from what i know depression is the thing that keeps you in bed, makes you give up, makes you feel distant, makes you feel dull, and makes you feel hopeless
if i were u i wouldn’t be calling yourself depressed, instead it’s something else
i’m not a professional but i’m just saying
and self-diagnosing isn’t good.
i’m actually cutting myself and i don’t even say i’m actually depressed. i don’t want to be that person who says their depressed without getting diagnosed.
