*Amy let out a sigh as she turned up the air conditioner in her police car that was parked by the sidewalk, she knew she’d get in trouble for using the car with no emergencies involved but as far as she knew this was an emergency, the woman felt like she would die of heatstroke if she was out there. The woman placed her hand on the wheel while staring out the side window in boredom realizing being on break wasn’t as fun on her own but she hadn’t seen anyone to talk to for a while*

William could be seen quickly making his way down the sidewalk with a large stack of papers in his arms, he seemed in a bit of a hurry to get home and go through them, as he’d been allowed to work on the case by himself for now. He wore a messy white button up and some dress pants, jsut soemthing he could throw on to grab his things, though he was going to change when he got back home. His messy brow hair fell a bit over his glasses and he paused to push them up the bridge of his freckled nose before he was bumped by a rather large man, causing him to lose balance and for quite a few of his papers to fall and scatter about on the ground.
Amy: *she curiously rose a brow as she watched him, wondering why he was in such a hurry. For a moment she pondered if she should go over and talk to him but decided not to due to him seeming busy, she continued watching the hurried man until he bumped into the rather large man. Amy quickly took off her seatbelt and opened the car door, closing it behind her with a slight frown and started making her way over to help him out*
He felt his cheeks begin to warm as he got a few odd looks, he sneered a bit and frowned as he got down on the ground, beginning to pick back up his papers, he furrowed his brows, softly grumbling to himself as he scoot them close to the wall in a poor attempt to be polite and let people walk around him, he was annoyed to find they still stepped on his papers and filed.
Amy: *the woman hurriedly walked over, the clacking of her heels slowly coming to a stop. She let out a small sigh, shooing away the next people who were going to come through, a bit annoyed that they had no respect for people’s belongings. Without question the woman kneeled down, picking up papers along with him, making sure she didn’t wrinkle any of them* you okay William? *she briefly looked up from the papers and at him*
He glanced up to the woman and paused in shock, god, this couldn’t get any worse, he shakily cleared his throat and nodded with a sigh as he helped, he stared down, almost feeling guilty for looking like his in front of her, it was humiliating really. He gave a gentle nod as he frowned, muttering. "I-I’m fine."
Amy: that’s a relief.. *she picked up most of the papers that were left with a huff before gently holding them up to her chest with one arm while looking around the ground to make sure none got away. She picked up the last paper, noticing a dirty but barely noticeable shoe print on it, she muttered under her breath while adding it to the pile* jerks.. *after a moment she looked back over at William, a slight curious look on her face* so..what’s got you rushing around in this heat?
Amy: *her eyes followed him as he got up, raising a brow in genuine interest* Case you say? *she stood up as well, still holding the papers in her arms* they must trust you to take good care of it then- what’s the case about?
Amy: *she moved some of her black hair behind her ear with one hand, with a bit of a chuckle* ah, well I hope it won’t be too hard- maybe..I can keep you company too- I mean you look like you need help with carrying these.
Seth walked the streets alone, his jacket opened as he stopped on a bridge, looking over at the water, eating his donut in peace, listening to the sounds of the night city. His hair was down not. In it's usual ponytail, the blonde hair contrasting with his dark skin though not looking half bad
A rather tall, stocky yet still, fit man sat along the bridge on an opening, his feel swung gently as he looked down at the water, sort of jsut thinking. He let out a soft, slow sigh as he pushed his glasses up the freckled bridge of his nose. His eyes fluttered shut, the man wore a nice jacket and a T-shirt under, as well as jeans and boots, not his usual attire but, it felt nice change it up a bit.
The man smiled softly as he looked over the water, clutching his necklace in his hand as he whispered to himself, his eyes covered by his hair though he could see through it. He opened the locket of his necklace and smiled down at the small picture in it
He jumped when he heard the scoff, looking over at the man, not having noticed he was there. "Did I disturb you?" He asked, the man's voice was deep but soft, soothing almost.
The man gave a sigh when he didn't answer verbally, starting to think the man was upset
He looked up at the sky as he closed his locket, heading the opposite direction
He turned confused as he saw the man heading back twords him, stopping in his tracks, "Yes?"
"my place is just down the road." He said quietly. "You can stay there if you'd like?"
He smiled softly and shook the man's hand. "Seth Michelle" he said, he wasn't well known but his family was. His father and his brother had been killed in a Shoot out at the city hall barely a month ago, causing the man to hide from the media and form a life of solitude in the city
"if you need anything please just let me know, there's a room upstairs if you get tired waiting out the storm" he said softly. As he let his hand go. "Please don't touch the shelf with the urns and plants on it." He said, he didn't think the man would but he'd figured he tell him just in case
He waved back. "You too officer" he said, honestly unsure how to address him, just trying to be formal and friendly to the awkward man
He moved, sitting on his couch with a soft sigh, turning as he watched him leave for the room giving. A soft smile, he was glad he wasn't alone again even if it was only for a. Night, the though comforted him
He laid back on his couch, the thought of the man lingered in his mind causing a soft blush to cover his cheeks, he had to admit, the officer didn't look half bad,
The house was two levels, the bottom holding the living room, kitchen, a bathroom and a small library, the second floor held one bedroom, anotee bathroom a closet, a spare room which seemed to be used for storage and a locked door
He purred softly as he let his mind roam on the thought of the man. Sitting up and heading to the kitchen as he decided to get himself a snack, looking out the window out at the storm, with a humm.
At the end of the hall on the second floor there was a bookshelf with dimly lit candles and three urns there where photos if people Infront if the urns and there where plants in the rat of the shelves, the man clearly seemed to have a decent green thumb
In the middle there was a picture of a woman, fairly. Beautiful woman, she seemed to resemble Seth, the name engraved in the bottom of the frame was Tanya Michelle. To the left of that was a picture of a young. Boy, messy blonde hair and freckles. The name. I'm the frame said Davis Michelle. To the right was a picture of a man, similar to the young boy bit his hair was dark, his name was Quinton Michelle
The man made himself a blongna sandwich and was leaned against his counter eating the sandwich looking list in thought
He nodded his head as he pulled a glass from his cabinet and purred a little water in it from the pitcher in the fridge
He handed him the glass of water after he put some ice in it. "Her" he said with a soft smile
He returned to his food, mostly trying to hide his blush from the man, watching the ran from the window again
He looked back at him admirinf the man's beauty, turning to the sink to wash his hands, listening to the man's humm
