(A bit of context: this is very far in the future. Normal pilots can bring their ships home, they're not that big in MOST cases.)

> So one night Fletch saw the ship in the driveway (he was 15) and was like "hey... I bet I can fly that." > So he tried.. and it did not go well. It ended with him needing 1/4 of his face replaced along with the entire lower half of his body. (And that is why he cyborg.)

> After that his father basically 100% hated him and they both tried to keep their distance from eachother. > So fletch graduated from school and thought "Hey,,, I can still be a pilot." (He used his crash as a sob story for his college apps. Doesn't sound like it would work but it did.)

> Surprisingly enough he ended up excelling in his classes. He graduated in the top 10 of his class. > This meant he had the option to be a more "government-operated" pilot. Meaning he'd work for the government, seeking out newly developing planets and seeing what resources they had. > Basically: He'd see what they could steal from poor people.

> So fletch was like "yeahhh god i love the government!! Money!!" > Once he took the job Usman was assigned to be his assistant/the enginner on the ship. (Since their trips would be longer the ships were larger.)

FIRST MISSION : (copy and pasted from an old anim lmfao cause im lazy) : > So it's their first day on the job and their planet happens to be the one where Eilan lives. In the eyes of Usman and Fletch they are fairly primitive, their technology could probably be compared to 1900s America's lmfao. > The aliens there are very religious/spiritual and they think that Usman and Fletch are there to save them because they are currently in a drought. > Because they are assholes they take advantage of that and are basically treated like Jesus Christ while they're there. > Eilan is doubtful about it though, because Usman and Fletch look literally nothing like how saviors are supposed to look according to their religion. So he basically stalks them to try and find some kind of proof that they actually aren't who they say they are. > So Eilan somehow finds proof and goes to the rest of his people to show them. And they're all like "ah ****, we gotta kill these people"

And Fletch is like "lol no im gonna steal ur prince" And usman is like "bro no u can't steal the prince thats bad" and then they take Eilan hostage.

> Usman was born upper-middle class, his town was fairly similar to Fletch's. > His mom was a doctor and his dad stayed home most of the time but he took odd-jobs when they needed money for something. > His childhood was a lot less,,, traumatic than Fletch's lmfao. He took a liking to mechanics/engineering very early and it wasn't difficult for him to know what he wanted to do after he graduated.

> He'd never enjoyed hearing about what Humans did to other planets, he had a very strong sense of his morals. But once he was chosen to work on a ship with a pilot, he was pressured into going. His family knew it was once-in-a-lifetime and that he'd be well off in terms of finances for the rest of his life even if he only took one job.

> Needless to say Usman was not a fan of Fletch in the beginning. Due to his,, yknow,, slightly homicidal tendencies and willingness to do basically anything their bosses told him to do. But Usman tolerated him, he wasn't the worst pilot he'd met.

(after the first mission) > Usman was NOT a fan of the "let's kidnap the alien prince" plan but at the time it was either that or get murdered so he did it anyway. > What he wasn't planning on was keeping Eilan for as long as they did. He thought they'd be taking him for maybe a week and then finding a way to sneak him back to his planet.

> But Fletch was like "no lol he is a hostage we're not taking him back." > The plan was to use Eilan as a way to threaten the inhabitants of his planet into not fighting against the Human soldiers and scientists when they came to steal their shit. > But before they could get back to Earth they crashed onto Dale's planet yayy.

**** I FORGOT USMAN GIRLFRIEND INFORMATION : > Usman met his girlfriend when they were 16. He was never exactly too interested in her but his plan was, "Be engineer, marry, have kids, die." So he just went with it. Engineering was his passion anyway so he wasn't too focused on her. > But SHE was kind of a *****. She was known to flirt with other dudes. (Usman never knew if she actually did cheat on him but everyone just assumed that it happened multiple times.) > When Usman went away she seemed eerily(?) giddy about it, and Usman confided to Fletch about that. (ok done with gf)

OK SO BACK TO WHEN THEY CRASHED ON DALE'S PLANET > Too put it shortly; Usman is very much in love with Dale and very bad at hiding it. > Usman's list of Pros and cons abt Dale Pros: Good with tech, very pretty, smart, (insert 50 more things here) Cons: ??? > So Usman obviously agrees to Dale joining them with 0 hesitation, completely ignoring Fletch.

REDESIGN

> Elian's mom and dad are basically the 'king and queen' of their very very small planet. It is newly developing, their tech is not advanced at all. > Now let's do math: King + Queen + Have baby = Prince. Eilan is a prince.

> Elian's life is fairly normal, he lives in comfort and his parents are distant but not,,, COMPLETELY neglectful lmfao. > That is until Usman and Fletch show up. > Those two land in the middle of town in a huge spaceship, like nothing they'd ever seen. And they LOOK like nothing they'd ever seen. Seeing as these people are VERY religious (their religion will be explained in another section) they're like "holy shit its the messiahs let's worship them and ignore how incredibly sus they are."

> Dale's parents were born on Earth. They lived in a fairly small town (rural America.) > His parents were on a date at a drive in (they were 17) when they were abducted by aliens that took them back to their small, highly developed, planet. > This had been the first abduction the aliens of that planet had done. The "scientists" were keen on expirimenting on them, but most of them were worried abt yknow,, ethics.

> There were enough aliens protesting the expirimentation that the government wouldn't have been able to do it without some weird vegan alien uprising so they made a plan. > They told the people that "ok so we'll make the humans a baby and if that baby can learn our language, and learn all the rest of our stuff and fit in.. Humans are intelligent enough that we wont disect them."

> That was apparently good enough for them so Dale's parents had a baby (wow its them.) > Dale turned out to be very intelligent and caught onto the alien's advanced tech and language at a very young age, and even ended up creating his own new inventions once he was older.

> Despite this, he was still looked down upon by the others. I mean... they didn't want him to be dissected... but they'd heard bad things abt humans and were cautious.

> So Dale was like "Ok screw that wtf. I am intelligent i wanna DO STUFF." >And that's when Fletch, Usman, and Eilan crashed on their planet. > The first person they got along with was Eilan. Since, yes Dale was human, but they'd both been born on planets other than Earth. (Their planets are also similar in size. The only large difference is Eilan's planet has a monarchy.) > Now Dale REALLY wanted to leave with them. They heard they traveled to different planets and that was basically their dream. Usman immidietly agreed (bc he's a simp) and Eilan did soon after. Fletch never did agree to Dale coming with them but it's 2:1 idiot.
