ok so i want my mom to buy me a game on steam but she doesn't think it's trustworthy can anyone demonstrate why it's good or tell me your experience with buying stuff in it and in general thanks

Well my brother has steam and he’s had his computer for about a year and a half now. He got a gift card for it for Christmas and my dad is a computer nerd and he’s also been trusting steam for a while now and they are a very trustworthy program!! My dad hasn’t told me anything bad about them so ya!!
