it had a shapeshiftinf monster and this is one of its forms if it has any injuries they can be seen on any form it takes (which was important in the dream) one form was that of a girl (i wanna say around 19? years old) it went to a party as said girl but bc it was injured the night before it was covered in gnarly scars and it used that to gain everyone's trust and empathy. it stayed in that party house well after dark it got the scars bc a guy had fought it off one night, just barely living with a bunch of scars of his own. he forgot what caused them. then he and his friends had their own mini party at the house next door. they were throwin glow sticks or whatever, something bright out the window, and that annoyed the beast, so it turned into this^ and thats when the guy remembered what had hapoened turns out he had been reliving dying night after night to that thing until he finally outsmarted it and lived, only for a slight annoyance to bring it back to kill him and start the cycle over again

that was just the end of the dream i didnt even talk about the beginnign where the cycle rlly shows itself the guy could remember every cycle he had been thru and thanks to that, he was able to live in that last cycle however, in the first part of the dream, it jus showed him goin thru trial and error to figure out how he could escape without the monster getting to him first

i vaguely remember something else in the forst part too but i cant remember it ENOUGH to be able to say anything abt it

off topic but i feel like kill screen by machine girl is about someone who's parents raised them to have the beliefs they had and then forced said person to act upon it. but when the person learns their parent's way of life isnt what they see as 'right' they 'turn on them' obviously theres a lot of guilt there as well as self doubt. especially if the parents use guilt tripping a lot maybe im just projecting but thats what the song feels like to me

the mention of golems and how they were created as slaves to humanity but turned on them rlly sells my idea
