There was nowhere to hide. Raven was nowhere to be seen, and whatever that.. tHING was, was right behind him. And, of course, Alexander’s horse had run away. Because how else would that go for him? The thing shrieked, and he yelped, running faster. He kept calling out for his partner, since they always went everywhere in buddies, but of course, the idiotic necromancer he was always paired with had basically disappeared into thin air. Of course! Everything had to be about Raven! Oh, is Raven okay? Where’s Raven? Why’s Ray upset? What did you do to him? Not once did anybody come to check on him! He didn’t have a place to stay, either. He was even worse at defending himself than the previously mentioned annoyance. But for some reason, someone who can talk to the dead and would logically be feared has got everyone worried. “Raven, this isn’t funny! Where are you?!” He shrieked. This seemed like a game raven would play, watch-the-fish-almost-get-eaten-alive-and-embarass-him-when-he-gets-back.

And, of course, he heard a shout nearby. So Raven was looking for him. That didn’t make him feel much better. Especially since he couldn’t tell what direction it was coming from. He didn’t know how long he’d been running when he saw the skeleton horse, but he didn’t hesitate to run toward it as fast as possible. He didn’t see raven. That wasn’t good. The skeleton horse let him on, and they hightailed it out of there. Raven, as expected, was waiting by a tree with his cat. “Is it gone?” “Why would you care.” “Get off, I’ll steer him. We can’t just walk away from a baby dragon.” “That was a-“ “Off!” Alex rolled his eyes and did as he was told. Raven helped him back up(the cat, predictably, got to ride on the horses head) and they sped off into the night, the enraged howling of what was apparently a dragon hatchling ringing out far behind them. hi I don’t know why I did this but I did
