Since the landings I still have not slept although I was very tired I couldn't give up. One hour later, I was very close to the hill when one of the German soldier went downhill I thought that this might be a easy kill so I took a shot. I missed! now he knows i'm there. I pulled out a grenade and threw it.

We just blew up the sea wall I still did not know what to do now all that they said was to recapture Normandy... I knew that we were moving towards Berlin... The capital of Germany I was terrified.

As soon as we took out the M6's and the bunkers we went towards the barn house. It was secured by german and nazi soldiers.As soon as they saw us they started shooting at all directions.I had to see many of my fellow soldiers die in front of my face.
