Basically, Hollyscar (first one), clan was attacked when she was a kit, killing her mother and giving her the huge scar she has, she had a deep hatred for that clan and strives out to kill some of the members of that clan. Her clan mates later discovered and exiled her from her clan, and it gives her a deep hatred for all clans and strives to take over the forest.

Frostgaze, aka Froststar, (second one), was in a poly, he got jealous of the she cat spending more time with the other male and he got angry. The other tom was jealous of frostgaze when he became deputy, soon later, becoming froststar. The other tom tries to kill Froststar but Froststar kills him. The clan thinks that Froststar killed him on purpose and exiles Froststar.
