LinkIt’s the first day back and there’s already a lockdown, I’m tired of yn’s
Bro you have no idea my old highschool has metal detectors now and you have to wear these clear bookbags the school gives you and you can’t even have your phones you have to put them in these ****ing yonder pouches you can’t even use them at lunch
I mean the kids still just sneak there phones in it’s not like you can personally check like 300 kids the metal detectors are fine I guess but there’s always ways to get around them but the clear bookbags? Great now everyone can see my shit
They are trying to put detectors in front of the bathrooms to stop kids from vaping but again my sister finds a way

Yeah dude in the buffalo shooting the police found papers and a manifesto at the shooters house where several people were talking about targeting predominantly black areas, the shooter didn’t live in buffalo he specifically drove where he knew many black people shopped and shot it up
Yeah but in schools kids can’t really bring there own guns to defend themselves- when I used to go to that school the only real scare we had was a lockdown that happened when a crazy guy from a asylum broke out and was seen near a elementary school
Still I think it’s highly unlikely and most people don’t know alabama is a predominantly black state but if some racist in alabama wanted to do something they would probably target stores or schools
Yeah I know that the shooting happened in like 2022 but the fact it happened at all sticks in my head and reminds all of us that people are still being targeted for there race even if everyone wants to believe people aren’t and there’s under ground groups we don’t even know about that are still obsessed with white supremacy and shit
Otherwise the main two factors in school shootings are the shooters being bullying victims, wanting to copy other killers, or going into a rage after something happens
So like if you don’t have anyone you know being terribly bullied at school or are really into crime documentaries or had something like a breakup happen you should be fine
But then again most people don’t know when bullying occurs or don’t think it’s severe enough and is just people playing around
And there’s many normal people who just like crime and watch videos about it because it’s something interesting to watch
And obviously mostly everyone who has something happen like there gf breaks up with them or they get in a fight with there friend would result in just shooting the school but a lot of cases I remember have had that happened
Because like teenagers are still emotionally sensitive and learning and things like that can feel like the end of the world

yeah, and what sucks is that it doesn’t help that they’re being taught to be racist and to dehumanize people not only by their parents but also by the school system. I’ve had so many racist teachers that were openly racist and what’s worse is that they were history teachers. I had one say that the black student should have been a raccoon for Halloween and the other literally singled me out for being black, she said “you see Em is the darkest one here, she would definitely be on that side” while she was talking about the holocaust….

I never really had racist encounters with teachers, except for ONE example
A white teacher named Mrs Washburn that everyone liked- and my school was majority black
She would say the n word and everyone was chill with it- she didn’t say it in a derogatory way but still your white and shouldn’t say it at all
Eventually she stopped saying it and I admit she was pretty funny and most kids liked how laid back she was about weed but still it was very inappropriate imo but I can’t really judge how black people feel about the word and other people using it

I used to be in a elementary school where there were way more white kids then black kids I don’t remember most of it but I remember the teachers there being nice and fun
But then they turned it into a magnet school and my mom pulled us out- even though I was smart enough to still enroll there
When I went to the public school that’s when I started being in black schools- Iwas pretty young to really remember much of my old elementary school but I found it weird how the race dominations changed when they were all in the same area
But I wouldn’t want to think about being a upstuck white racist asshole
I felt like if I stayed in those white majority schools I would have like a whole different outlook on racism

I’m ngl I have a weird feeling with the word ghetto, it’s almost always said towards black people to talk about inappropriate behavior and acting a certain way, but the “certain” way is just something that’s common in black communities or culture

And ghetto is predominantly used against poor black people to I always just feel a certain type of microaggression is used when people use it

It’s definitely different, first off EVERYONE SAYS THE N WORD HERE like they would say it too your face but they’re so used to it that they don’t even realize they’re saying it. But they aren’t actually like racist towards the black people here it’s more like internal racism within their Hispanic communities, like for example the Dominicans there hate Mexicans and the Puerto Ricans don’t like the Colombians. And they’re too busy fighting over that to be racist to anyone else. But they were history white school system, everyone was so racist and oh my god they were extremely homophobic for no reason, this one boy had two dads and he said that he hoped all trans people catch on fire. And at the time the school would do nothing about any reports especially for racism or discrimination of any sort so you were just left on your own.
I would say don’t try to be friends with white people that try to demean you or not accept your culture and practices
Like if they make fun of your hair or ask you subtle racist questions like “do you shower every week” and “do you wash your hair”
