Spoilers for Season 3 Episode 18/19 or something (Sailor Moon/Crystal) Hotaru's death hit hard for me, she was a freaking precious bean, who, even though she was a spirit, still helped everyone else come back to life, and when she gave Chibiusa her soul back, she pretty much disintegrated right in front of her, and I think Chibiusa had a crush on her (that or they were really close friends :P) and she had a mental breakdown (like me :'D) Then Sailor Saturn was summoned by accident, and then she destroyed everything and killed the monster, but died in the process.. Hotaru died twice in one goddamn episode and I was crying for so long-
