When ppl white was colored O.C's. I don't understand this. If you give someone a ref, of a colored O.C, but they give you a fanart of a white character, it baffles me. The character is clearly Colored, so why draw them as white?

The first time this happened to me I was giving a fanart to MintCookies. Who is ArmyXsever. No shade to this person, she's a wonderful bean, and super sweet. She was doing fanarts, and I gave my ref. Of my self insert, who is black. In the fanart, it was a white girl in my o.c's outfit. I was preety confused, but still accepted the fanart. I didn't understand why someone would do that, but since she was a nice person, i didn't bring it up, but i didn't understand why she did it. It's not hard to draw a colored o.c? I understand my o.c's hair is hard to draw, but the skin tone?

this acc hasn't been active recently, so she prob won't see this, but no one attack her or anything, idk why she drew my o.c this way, but i don't think she should get any hate, i just wanted to put up an example.

either way, it's wrong to draw a colored character as white, and no one should do it, draw the o.c in it's original color, or not at all. that's about it. rant over.
