Dysphoria is "a state of unease or generalized dissatisfaction with life." Now, that'd different from gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is dissatisfaction with like ur gender/name/pronouns/the way you present/are perceived by others I think a lot of the people that are like "yea!! u don't need dysphoria to be trans!!" don't actually realize just how broad gender dysphoria is. There are different types and not every trans person will experience them all or at the same levels as others. Most people know of, and some only know of, physical dysphoria, being uncomfortable with your body, like ur tiddies or crotch, bc it's associated with a certain gender. So that IS dysphoria, but it's not the only type of dysphoria. There is also social (gender) dysphoria. This is dysphoria caused by the way you present/other people perceive you/your gender. If you don't like dressing fem/masc bc you think people will assume you are a certain gender you don't identify with that is...the dysphoria..

If You don't like your birth name because it's associated with a gender you don't identify with that is dysphoria. If you don't like the pronouns you started with because of the gender they are associated with that is dysphoria. Dysphoria is NOT only hating your body! And not all people with physical dysphoria hate their body to an extreme, some are just like, haha ew tits. Still dysphoria.

Now...If you are okay with your pronouns assigned at birth okay with the gender you were assigned at birth okay with the name you were assigned at birth okay presenting the way your gender assigned at birth is associated to present Then tell me HOW is this person trans? How are they not the gender they are assigned at birth? They are 100% fine and comfortable with their original gender, why would they have any reason to change? So ye if you're good with ur gender then like,, why would you be trans, why would you actively want to be part of a heavily discriminated against group. This applies for xenogenders too, if ur gender feels more like a racoon or smth that is...dysphoria...that is u feeling that ur gender is racoongender not female So uh yeah, questions and comments are welcome just don't expect me to change my mind bc this is literally like,, facts

tl;dr dysphoria is not only hating your body it's not liking your gender/pronouns/name and wanting to use different ones So if you like all of that then like,, ur not trans

Yeah. I would be considered trans, due to the fact that I identify as Genderfluid/Non-binary, but only because those 2 fall into the trans category. Sorry if that makes no sense-

So apparently da word I'm looking for is gender incongruency, and that's what's actually needed to classify as trans dysphoria is like, the distress and icky feelings about ur gender, the other is feeling like you are not gender assigned at birth Point still stands that if ur totally in love with ur birth gender ur not trans

mmm ima say this and it might be wrong. I definitely have a form of gender dysphoria. My erm. Feminine features, make me very uncomfortable, but i wouldn't say I want to ever be trans either. Some might say I'm insecure, and yes, I am. But not that I don't look like a perfect girl, but the fact I look like a girl. So i mean gender is confusing man-

gender is very confusing and im over trying to figure out if I'm cis-gender like everyone else or not (also I'm not saying I'm having the worse time compared to other people I'm just saying I'm having a hard time figuring myself out)

Honestly you can have one or a couple of these things and still be cis You can be born female, but use they/them, but still identify as female So like gender is dumb and also physical features make a lot of people uncomfortable cis or trans lol, like what if my boobs are too big or too small or whatever

Okay, that's what this whole post kinda was about! Um, you don't have to hate ur body or want surgery to be trans, you can just have social dysphoria bc of ur name/pronouns/etc. Like I have physical dysphoria but the thought of surgery especially on my lower half is so terrifying I'm not really interested in that

yeah. i don’t mind have tits and i don’t want to bind them either. but i know i’m not a girl?? y’know?? like i don’t feel comfortable being called a girl. like she/her pronouns. but i love wearing like. skirts and stuff. so i get told i can’t be trans/nb a lot

OKAY OKAY BUT SKIRTS R SO COOL and I would wear them if not for the crushing dysphoria of ppl thinking im a girl like seriously dresses and skirts man And uh, tits r also cool and it would be neat if society fan get to a point where wearing skirts or having noticeable boobies doesn't make you a certain gender

Good argument, makes sense Its dumb to call yourself trans when you're not dealing with any dysphoria what so ever but still go "But I dress up in boys clothing and like things a boy would like." or "I like to watch girls shows and my favorite color is purple!". No you are not trans and you don't have to be.

I can't look down without crying because of my chest- I can't buy chest binders and it kills me. I hate showering and what makes it worse I'm dead named everyday no matter how many times I try to come out to my mum and I hate the fact my mom picks out my clothes sometimes for me which means more dysphoria along with that in my family for girls they are given the big chest Gene and of course I had to be born with a big chest- dysphoria is a thing I deal with on a daily basis- and it's not fun-

when your parents don't want you to change your name because "what if you change your mind?" and they still see you as a girl even though you've said that you aren't one so the only solution is to survive until you can make it out and get the surgery you need to feel comfortable in your own skin and to finally get the clothes you want to wear and to tell everyone you know your pronouns so you can finally feel seen

anyways my point is that yes I do indeed feel dysphoric, and I hate being home because I'm still seen as a girl there.
