he's dead, he died in the winter do to an infected wound from a badger attack. his death greatly affect his mother Amber, it caused her to become more distant from her mate and her other pup. Tiberius on the other hand took his death as a warning and started being a helicopter parent to Juniper. Juniper wasn't really affected by his death because she was only a few weeks old when he died.
