"Comic please stop torturing Onyx." Tex sat on the couch, his eye not once flicking up from the book it was focused on, yet he still knew his younger cousin was causing mischief. "No fair! I'm tall up here!" Comic had effectively clung to Onyx's head, leaving him with no chance of escape. "I-It would be nice if you could let go?- this is by no means comfortable-" Onyx akwardly tried to prise the child off of his head without hurting him. Comic huffed. "I'm not goin'! And if you try to make me I'll use my epic powers!" He stuck out his chest triumphantly. "You say you have powers only because you accidentally blew up the fridge yesterday while trying to get chocolate milk." Tex hummed. Comic soured and huffed, before flopping backwards and nearly falling, catching himself by hovering with his face an inch above the floor.

Comic rolled over in the air and looked quizzically at Onyx. "Would it be possible that I COULD explode you?" Onyx shivered. " I-I'd rather not find out-" Comic floated up to be eye level with the crystalline. " I doubt I would- pleaseeeeee can I try?" "No!" Onyx stepped back slightly "Tex tell him to stop!-" Tex looked up from his book finally. "You made me lose track of the paragraph I was reading." He deadpanned. "See he doesn't care so it isn't dangerous!" Comic whined. " It isn't dangerous to explode me?-" "no! I mean it isn't dangerous to test my powers on you!" Comic smiled, hoping for a positive response. "Hmm- I don't know abou-" before Onyx could finish Comic had essentially slapped him in the face. At first he felt nothing. Then a slight shock. Then nothing again. "Oh it- it didn't do anything?- well just don't do that without warning again-" He stopped mid lecture. Something flinched in the corner of his vision. He turned to meet a pair of cross pupiled yellow eyes.
