Backstory: Aurora was the newborn daughter of the advisor to the king of Magonian, the realm of the Magians. All Magians are born with white hair, a streak of color indicating the type of magic they hold. Aurora was one of very few Fire Magians. Only the royal family and few others are Fire Magians. The advisor to the king had had an affair with the Queen to birth Aurora, the king was furious and tried to kill them. In the chaos, their enemies took this as an opportunity to land an attack on the palace. The queen was able to escape with Aurora to the real world, but they have no idea what happened at the palace. The queen was close to death with Aurora in her arms in the streets of New York. She left Aurora on the doorstep of a house with an amulet to hold her powers before leaving to die in an alleyway. Aurora then grew up in that house of a friendly family, homeschooled. Until she gets a letter inviting her to a mysterious prep school across the sea. Apparently this school had renovated an old palace...
