Annabeth approaches. She is covered in mud and holding her blade after sparring with another camper much older than her.

“Hey Grover!” She says happily her smile changes to a concerned look after seeing him. “What’s up?”

Annabeth pats him on the back. “Well- capture the flag is in an hour. Are you feeling up to it?”

“This time Hermes, Athena, and Pan are on the same side”

“Something has to be bothering you-“ She started to say until Luke came by

(I’m gonna bring in clarrise)

“HEY LOSERS” Clarrisse shouted, “CAPTURE THE FLAG HAS BEGUN! RED TEAM FOR THE WIN”

“Oh no- not again.” Anabeth groaned. “Chiron said that she shouldn’t start the matches early.

They ran to the cabins where the disoriented blue team rushed to begin. Campers were throwing on armour and the few that were already equipped ran to defend their flag.

Annabeth looked up at Grover. A serious expression was on her face. “Stay behind me. Today I sent a kid 6 years older than me to the infirmary.” She smiled kindly. “This should get your mind off of things.”

She turned to the older campers for directions

A 16 year old girl from the Athena cabin yelled in their direction. “Grover! Annabeth! Follow Luke. You are going to find the flag.

Athena pulled a baseball cap out of her pocket and was gone. But- her laughter could be heard subtly under the clatter of swords and shrieks of excitement.

The flag soon disappeared also

A small son of Hermes ran toward Luke and Grover. “They got our flag!!!! Red got it- Where is theirs? “ Annabeth comes from behind a tree, flag in hand. “Catch Grover!” She threw the flag to him. “You’re fast with Your hooves!”

Annabeth joined Luke in fighting off the campers running to stop Grover. “Sorry!” She yelled to one kid that had a badly scratched arm

But there she was. “ You think I’m gonna let a child of PAN win the game?!?” Clarrise laughed coldly. “You let go-“

Annabeth proceeded to kick Clarrise in the shin. “Ow! How dare-“

“Yeah Grover! A few more feet” Annabeth yelled. She blocked blows from Clarrise while watching Grover near the line.

Everyone stopped fighting. Cheers and boos rang out around camp. Annabeth sprinted over to Grover and gave him a quick hug. “Amazing!! You did it!!!!” A smile spread across her face. “Clarrise had better not underestimate Satyrs anymore.”

Clarrise sneered. She stomped forward while brushing dust off of herself. Shockingly, she reached out her hand to Grover. “Good game.” She spat. “Even catching you guys off guard didn’t do anything.”

Annabeth stood at a distance, her mouth hanging open.

Clarrise gripped wAAAAy too hard, nearly crushing his hand and quickly turned away, yelling at her team. “ That’s the nicest I’VE ever seen her. Huh.” Annabeth mumbled

“But Grover- What was bothering you before this chaos?”

“You sure? “ Annabeth asked kindly.

“I knew that the game would help.” She grinned, “Athena IS known for her planning skills...”

“But seriously- you did great out there!” Annabeth chattered quickly pointing out some of his best moves in the game.

At dinner that night the only thing that people could talk about was the blue team’s win.

The end I think because that’s a brilliant ending- 💛💛💛💛 much wholesome

Plus almost 11:30 pm :00 Go to sleep dude lol
