i dont think its boring, specially if you add other things to draw more personality out of the design hoods are just fine :3 plus nothing wrong with a simple mc

Character design is not always about intricate details or complicated patterns, I’m not gonna take a comment of her personality wise but as a design I think there cool Anyways unique ideas and style is also important in character design I like how you blacked out there face and used yellow to contrast strongly against it I’m assuming there hands are in there sleeves but the sleeves work like hands Maybe you could draw hoodie in different hoodies? Like different hoodie designs? Also I’m assuming the hair is trailing out of her back right? So what if you added a bang or a hair strand somewhere on the face to more convey that message that the dark brown patch is hair rather then a tail or furr Also I think socks would be neat If there lounging in there hoodie all the time I thin socks would fit

She looks interesting maybe she takes off her hood from time to time and maybe her long hair could have practical uses instead of a Ring refrence and like the comment above she could have different hoodies for different events like a festive hoodie for holidays
