LinkFor gaming, probably if the games you want to play don't require a lot of resources. You can also use streaming services like GeForce but it's paid. $200 is like dirt for a good laptop

LinkGet at least 16gb of RAM and a mid-tier GPU/CPU then an external SSD or HHD for games, and use cloud services like MEGA for your docs, files, etc

LinkBudget laptops are usually $500-800 so anything lower than that is a pick-your-poison type of thing
guys is it worth it to buy a 200 dollar laptop for gaming + work i am very close to college and i think i might need it lowk
honestly i have a ****ing shitty laptop so if you have the money and the means I'd do it? as long as you plan to maintain it i dont see an issue. I'll be v v v honest with you though trump is in office and prices WILL be hiking up so either buy it quick, or find something cheaper- purely because you will need that money in the future for other things.
