Um, well I don't really know if I'm in a position to give art tips but something that really helps me out is to practice drawing real life figures. This really helps with my anatomy and definitely improves my art. With drawing real life figures, it is very important to use gesture lines. They might seem kinda dumb at first but once you start using them your drawings will become much more dynamic. Another thing I like to do is to "copy" art from artists whos style I like. You shouldn't claim the art as your own and you should always credit the artist. This will help you build up a style that you like. Hopefully this was somewhat helpful. This is all very helpful to me, as I'm still trying to find a style I like. If I didn't explain very well there are plenty of in-depth videos on YouTube. :)
