Not it for starting

I spent too much time thinking Either outside of a pet store or some junk yard, you got any ideas?

*Ryan was on top of a junk pile with a kitten in his hands, a few hours before he found it in an old shower. He was looking below for something that would be shiny enough to take home- besides the cat*

Ryan: *he tensed up a bit when hearing her yelp, it didn’t take long for him to spot her. He raised a brow and got up with a slight frown not expecting for another person to be there, he started carefully making his way down the pile while still holding the kitten*

Ryan: *once he got down the kitten jumped up on his shoulder which surprised him, he lances at it before peering at her with his light brown eyes. he found it a bit hard to keep eye contact but still managed to do it, he awkwardly waved with an unreadable expression*

Ryan: wow I’m feeling comfortable already. *he sarcastically remarked while his stare got more piercing the closer she got* you can call me Ryan, or just Rye. *he pet the kitten on his shoulder and answered, his voice was..deep?*

Ryan: nice to meet ya..were you the one yelling before?

Ryan: *his black hair bounced as he chuckled a bit and gave her a small smile* yeah- what was that about?

Ryan: *his smile grew a bit wider but resisted the urge to laugh since there was a thing called social manners he almost forgot about* oh yeah, those. More have been showing up lately so be careful.

Ryan: I should be asking you that- *he stepped forward* I come here often and I’ve never seen you here before.

Ryan: ah- alright. sorry- *he huffed and went back to the pile, picking up his bag which was at the base of it* to answer your question I was just doing what I do best, collecting things. *his eyes only studied her for a moment as the kitten rubbed itself against his cheek*

Ryan: *he hesitantly shook his head* mm-mm. it’s just a stray, found it stuck in a shower a couple of hours ago. *he took the kitten off of his shoulder, he seemed less bothered when the kitty came into the conversation* mh..wanna hold it?

Ryan: *he held it out to her* here.

*the smol kitty trembled a bit but still purred when she touched it* Ryan: *he noticed her tail and slightly smiled then quickly looked away and covered his mouth sorta giving himself an annoyed look-*

Ryan: ah no. no you didn’t- *he awkwardly coughed and kept his hand on his face* I’m just- worried, about the kitty, not sure if it’s sick or not—

Ryan: *he looked down at her, hesitant about saying yes to them going together, it’s not her fault, it’s him. he wasn’t a people person but the thing was he didn’t know where the vet is, he ran a hand through his hair and hesitantly nodded* I..don’t know where it is so yes please-

Ryan: thanks, I appreciate it *he sighed of relief*

Ryan: *he followed right behind her while staring down*

Ryan: *he noticed and lightly jogged behind her coming up next to her* you said you were Firo right? What do you do for a living?

Ryan: oh? What do you do when you work for ‘em? *he sounded more curious*

Ryan: *it occurred to him who her father was, he averted his eyes while petting the kitten’s head with his index finger*
