I personally think that at the current moment, people don’t need to be transspecies until we’ve established better contact with said species, as a species ourselves. Once we’ve established better communication with other species, being officially transspecies could in fact be viable. This is not to defend a completely different problem of zoophilia. Human brains are vastly different from other animals’ brains, and as far as we know (for lack of better contact) we are the only species able to consent. Ergo; when it comes to identity, it’s perfectly valid; but when it comes to consent, I say keep it to yourself.
