Retard is just an insult you dont have to have down syndrome to be considered a retard
For example my good friend jack from canada told me that he was in fact not stupid, and he stated that texas, new york, chicago and los angeles are states in the united states. I then called him a retard
I didn’t know that people were offended by the word retard until like 9th grade
