LinkI joined FlipAnim when I was just 10 years old, wanting to learn how to draw digitally and learn to animate. Though there’s been many ups and downs, I grew a community of people who shared their passion for art, some of which I still talk to off the site and are very close friends with. One of them, which you may know as Maple, or Z, or L0tus, actually informed me of the shut down of FlipAnim. This website has allowed me to grow and improve over the years and I am immensely grateful for the people I’ve meet, the things I’ve learned, and the website itself. I am now 15 and turning 16 this month and my art has reached levels beyond what that 10 year old me could even comprehend achieving, and I couldn’t have done it without FlipAnim.
So thank you, for those 5 years of FlipAnim that shaped my art journey.

LinkI know many of you are sad to see FlipAnim go and may be confused on what to do now. I do not know of any websites that can be drawn on and posted quite like FlipAnim, but I do know a website where you can share your offsite art with a community of people, and many FlipAnim artists that’s you’ve seen disappear are actually quite active on there. Toyhou.se is a character and art sharing website that allows you to grow a community and share your art for commissions aswell as posting art of your own characters.
Toyhouse is invite only, but if anyone is interested, I have many invites that I can give to those who would like an account!
