if i were you and i ran out of ideas to make an oc, just go on the colour wheel thing, pick 1 or more random or chosen colours but random is bEtTeR so yah.
then do an outline of whatever colour and whatever art style you end up with, try not to take like an hour on the eyes like i do XD

Alright I’m hoping you guys don’t count this as a shit post- but just a post that does have much effort in or something. I just wanted to talk a bit.
I’m starting to hate my art style a LOT, not the one drawn above- the one where I DO try. Everything has the same face, the anatomy is weird and I don’t like it, it’s very stiff. Etc. I started to work on new anatomy last night in my new sketchbook. (I actually just finished my 8th one im now on my 9th) it turns out that I see most people using that anatomy but they still have a style that’s unique.
Also I never have any ideas and it makes me wanna bash my head against concrete. While I see everyone else’s ideas- I’m here in the corner drawing my ocs again. And speaking of ocs- I only have 3 and I want to create more. But like I said, I ave no ideas whatsoever. I only draw boys or girls with no chest. I’m thinking of making a woodland character or a girl that just played in the woods and has bandages all over- idk- maybe you guys can give me ideas! Maybe leave some suggestions
Another thing is color- I’m horrible with color, I need to work more on that because I see SO many cute characters- but they all have good color schemes. I also need to brighten them up a bit- make them more fun.

it's ok to feel this way- i actually kinda feel similar right now.
everyone will get bored of their art style eventually, unless they have something they're really comfortable with. It's a way of improving. If you work to change the things you hate about it (and I can see you are, using a sketchbook to practice anatomy and whatnot) you will like it! Just take your time, and don't compare yourself to other artists. Most of the artists you see online are probably adults with a lot more experience.

Bye, have a fun day at camp. Also, Your art style is awesome and I can't let you down talk it THAT much. Yes, Improvement is a good thing but don't discredit yourself to the point that what you think of yourself is bad. Tons of people would want to draw at your ability level, Including me! So no, your not a horrible artist so stop talking down to yourself. Always look for improvement but don't get lost in the chase for perfection as to think that your art is bad, it's not so don't act like it.

Awe. I really wish I had some advice I could give you but I don't really. Now this is going to sound a little stupid but hear me out- maybe if you find someone with an art style that you like or a good base you could try tracing over it? Doing post it or claim it as your own obviously but it might help you get the feeling of an artstlye that you like or enjoy.

I really don't think you should hate your art style, its really unique. Everyone has trouble with anatomy so dont think you have to master it.
I don't want you to hate your art as much as I hate myself.
I have a few ideas but I'm bad with designs, and I can't draw that well due to my tics. Maybe if my tics get better I could totally give you some ideas, I did finish the redraw if winv boio fan art if you want that but I experimented with stuff too much. I have a feel ideas but I'm not sure if they you would like or want them. But don't stress out if you dont have any ideas, I used to do that all the time (still do) thinking I needed to post more or I wouldn't be worthy of my followers to FA itself. (Still do it all the time) if you don't have any ideas try

Just relax and think of them (No one shoukd ever get the perfect idea on the first time, it took a few tries to work on ziku's design so don't stress out about that)

Fandoms, most of my OCs are in the creepypasta fandom. You can see if you like a fandom or a story series ans you can create OCs from there, or just draw scenes from them.
