LinkNo matter how much light shines in a room, there will always be darkness. There will always be shadows. There will always be negative.
The negative has its own perks, like blending in, almost always having a hiding spot or safe haven. But deep down, it’s truly always jealous. Jealous of how bright the light shines. Jealous of how much of a spotlight the light has created in only a matter of a few days and weeks and months and is still in the spotlight to this day, while it took darkness many weeks and months and years to achieve its full potential.
The light, the arch rival of negative was mostly always modest, though sometimes would be proud of his achievements. This darkness would take full advantage of this, stretching it even, calling it bragging and a begging for more attention. But light simply agreed. Light was just being modest. While negative was owning light with its increasing newfound popularity.

LinkNegative soon found a way to engulf and swallow the light, and he began to start not simply be living in the shadows. He even gained popularity through the cold harshness he bore, only supporting people who agreed with him. Soon light was fading from recognition. Fading from freedom. Fading from existence.
Negative had finally had it all. His popularity. His recognition. And most importantly, his dominance. His dominance over the “obviously” more “weaker” race of the light. He had broken all rules of reality. Light was supposed to be light and darkness was supposed to be darkness. Darkness was supposed to be an impact of the light, not the engulfing of light the impact of darkness.
And then in an abrupt moment he awoke.
Stupid, stupid negative had finally awoken. Sunlight had pierced his eyes like harsh reality. It was just karma. And it was just a dream after all.
