Marsh pointed to a room. ‘Take her there. I’ll see to her in a minute,’ Streak followed Marsh’s instructions, and put her on a bed. She mumbled something and coughed, her whole body shaking. Streak stood there awkwardly, then Marsh came in. ‘What happened?’ ‘Well...’ Streak paused. What had happened, exactly? ‘Something... attacked her. Clawed her face. The scratch was some bluey-green shit. I attacked it so I didn’t see much. Then she passed out. Looked pretty bad. And... yeah...’ He rubbed his arm, looking slightly guilty. ‘She... she’ll be okay... right?’ Marsh shrugged, and looked at her cheek. ‘Dunno. Never really seen this stuff before. But you’re right. Looks bad.’
