Deadpool as a character has gotten one of the worst treatments by mainstream audiences in comicbook history. People think he's this lol so randum joke character, but he isn't. He's a depressed, mentally unstable, highly skilled killer. He hates his life and has attempted suicide several times. He has a multitude of possible origins, and all of them are really sad. Almost everyone he loves yas been killed, which has forced him to become emotionally distant, notand helped by his disassociative mentality caused by his "knowing he's in a comic". Despite being very intelligent, because he jokes sometimes and has unorthodox methods, everyone treats him like he's stupid. Every time he tries to change and become better, he fails and is thus outcast from society. He has a dark history filled with blood and tears. He tries to cover all of this up with dumb jokes and trying to be lighthearted. But the game, the movie(s, maybe I haven't seen the seceond one) and some of the bad comics show him as a jester.
