Haliteshine is a somewhat respected healer/medic figure, and can be part of the clan that took Sunflight in! I say "somewhat," because while she's excellent at her job, she seems blunt with her responses to patients, and may snap at some.
When Sunflight came in, Haliteshine treated her no differently, and it feels like she's one of the only cats who doesn't seem to respect her. Whether it makes her insecure or wanting to put her in line, the two just dont get on a good start.

But one day something happens, and either of the two get wounded or need medical help. Haliteshine's mother expresses disappointment in her daughter ("Really, you're a med cat and you get wounded?") or talks badly about Sunflight ("Why help that... 3-legged cat?") when its just the three in the den. But Haliteshine will step in to defend herself or Sunflight, tired of her mother's shtick, and it comes to light that Halite and Sun both had some mommy issues- they just responded to the trauma differently.
But the encounter causes the two to reach some common ground of sorts? Halite doesn't immediately change its behavior towards Sunflight, but she refrains from making sensitive comments. Sunflight eventually gains her respect over time, and they finally get along... And that can be when things grow further idk

I feel like they would make an amazing pair of "enemies" to lovers would be very interesting and they'd have very interesting lore together
