K anyway Miles was walking along a busy street. It'd been a long day for him, and he really just wanted to go home.

He fell, grunting as he hit the floor.

He looked at the man with anger and confusion, a bit of fear could be seen in his eyes. "W-what's all this for?" He sat up, backing against a wall. "Who are you?" He yelled.

He remembered the gunshots he had heard before the man ran into him, the look of fear becoming more apparent on his face. He removed the man's hand from his face, looking over at the entrance of the alleyway and back at him quickly. "Who are you?" He whispered loud enough for him to hear.

He squinted his eyes, reading the badge. He then looked back at him, the look of fear disappearing.

"A detective." He said quietly. It had become somewhat clear now. He still had a lot of questions, though. What had happened in the other alleyway? Why were there gunshots? Who were the men who ran past them?

He stood up, walking towards the entrance. "What was all the gunshots about?" He asked, looking around the corner.

"Don't blame yourself too much. It doesn't help the situation." He turned to look at him, frowning slightly.

"No. I'm fine, thanks. You okay?" The wrist the man had dragged him by was red, but otherwise, he was fine.

"That's good." He smiled, but barely. "I'm going to head home now, if you dont have anything else to say." He pointed over his shoulder.

He paused for a moment. "Sure." He smiled, holding out his hand. "Miles Stone."

"Nice to meet you." He felt weird saying that. He didn't meet people very often, and definitely not like this. He sighed a bit, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Dinner sounds fine. You got anywhere in mind?" He shrugged. He hadn't gone anywhere with anyone in a while. He was excited, yet still getting used to the fact a man who dragged him behind a dumpster was taking him to dinner.

"Then we could go there." He stepped out of the alley. "Lead the way."

He followed behind him, looking around.
