I was in one of those phases where I really wanted to draw, but every time I tried to draw one of my OCs, I got bored and dropped it, or it didn't look right. It took less effort and more inspiration to draw other people's ocs, in a simplistic, formulaic way

I don't really know. It probably stemmed from Ferret and I both being competitive when it comes to art I've always seen Ferret as better than me, and she's always seen me as better than her, and it pushes us to try and one up the other. Plus it's just fun to be able to make pretty things with your hands
