Prompt:
Basically, your oc was either a friend or an assistant of edisons and they went to go and visit him one day, so, when they arrived they were greeted by his sisters and they were directed to where edisons workshop was, going down the stairs to the workshop, there was the sound of a very loud bang as if something had just exploded and your oc quickly runs down the stairs to see what happened and find edison leaned against a wall, surrounded by tools and shards of metal, one shard in particular being covered in blood, and edison holding his side, seeming injured, so, wwyd?
(Note: shipping is allowed, just dont be weird, also he is 22 years old and bi- o please respect that-)
Edison: -looks at maverick- it certainly isn't- when did you get here-? -moves to stand but isnt doing very well-
Edison: -stands, still holding his side and leaning against the wall a bit- I accidentally connected a wire in the wrong place and well- boom- not very fun honestly, a tad bit upset about the fact that i now have to rebuild the entire thing....
M: well then, this is why most people use test chambers. But who am I to judge I’d do the same.
Edison: ...well.. Yes a test chamber would be helpful but I dont have the time to build one, but um... Maybe dont do the same- I dont believe thatd be very good for you to do- explosions arent exactly.. Well... What is wanted to happen to the machine being made-
M: yeah, I guess that’s logical. Let’s just go get’cha patched up buddy.
Edison: precisely- also I dont belive that will be necessary, the cut isnt that bad, im sure after a few days I'll be alright -the cut is very obviously worse than what he says it is- now! I believe i should most likely get changed into some clean, non-dust or blood covered, clothing so I can get to re-building the machine i was working on!
M: ah ah ah, not letting you work till you clean and bandage that nasty wound.
Edison: ...it isnt all that painful though? Ive survived worse! Besides, cleaning up the metal and everything is much more improtant then cleaning a little blood, I'll be alright
M: I’ll clean the work space, you clean the bleeding crevice in your side.
Edison: ......it would take a while to clean the workshop- I wouldn't want you to do it alone?
Edison: not really? I just dont want you to put things in incorrect spaces..
W: how about this I will clean the scraps but will touch nothing else? Because truthfully I just want you to bandage that thing before it gets infected
Edison: -sighs- fine, clean the metal up, I'll go change out of these.. Dust covered clothes and get one of my sisters to assist me in bandaging the wound, DONT get yourself hurt. Alright? -he walks to the stairs, still leaning against the wall for balance-

-about 20 minutes later Edison comes back-
Edison: -the cut was bandaged up and he had different clothing on(still looks exactly like the clothing he was originally wearing but clean-)- im back.. Dis what you wanted and got the injury fixed, are you satified now?
M: * lying on the ground a small pile of stuff infront on him* yes..I got all the scraps picked up..
Edison: alright... Um- why are you laying on the floor..? I was gone for only 20 minutes..? I think... Hm..
Edison: -looks at the pile- oh- I... Honestly dont know how i didnt notice that-
Edison: ...oh- um... Alright- -he walks, to the best of his ability, to his desk and picks up a small motor- ...... -seemed slightly confused at how the motor ended up on the desk when it was in the machine before the explosion- .......
Edison: ....you dont have to be so quiet- unless you want to be then thats alright..
Edison: its alright! You wouldn't be bothering me, i like having someone to talk to while i work, its nice
Edison: ^^ -picks up a screwdriver and starts to work on the small motor-
Edison: explode, aparently, it wasnt originally supposed to but well.. I dont really know what I was going to do with it anyways
Edison: um... No thank you, its fairly complicated--- I dont mean to sound as if i am underestimating you.. Apologies..

M: * points at a wall * that’s the fire, I’m surprised you haven’t noticed it.
Edison: and you didnt put it out??? It foesnt matter if i didnt notice it! You did-! Please- can you put the fire out..? It.. Honestly hurts to walk around-
M: * stood up and dumped a bunch of water on the fire,which only made it worse” !- I-..alright then. Well I’ve done everything I can,
Edison: there is a fire extinguisher in the corner, why the hell did you think dumping water on an electrical fire would be a good idea?!
M: because I’m dumb, I didn’t know what caused it! * he quickly grabbed the extinguisher and put out the fire* I’ll just go now. I think my bad lucks starting to spread-
Edison: well- obviously it was caused by the exploding machine-? Also-- why? Bad luck shouldnt be a reason to leave! But... If you insist on going..
M: when I say bad luck, I mean BAD luck, like get hit in the face 17 times by the same object for three days in a row kinda bad luck, but I got nothin better to do so I’ll stay.
Edison: honestly that sounds a lot less painful then accidentally blowing yourself up on a weekly basis------ Anyways- glad you decided to stay! ^^
M: that just sound like incompetence not bad luck. Oh and the object was a bowling ball so .
Edison: ........i am not incompetent- also oh- yeah um- maybe stay away from bowling alleys-

Edison: -looks at self, then back at Keith- it appears I do- genuenly i was thinking more of starting to repair my machine but apparently im bleeding- well then-

Edison: i know what im doing? I am a professional engineer and mechanic!! -is literally injured and cares more about the machine than the fact he is bleeding-
Catalina: mhm..... and now you're bleeding.... maybe on the brink of dying, i don't know..... and i know what i'm doing too....*walks to the machine and starts inspecting it*
Edison: I am not dying! I barely... I barely feel it........ Its perfectly fine------ Dont touch that!!! -stumbles over to whats left of the machinge to try to make her get away from it-
Edisin: ...doeent matter.. You arent allowed near.. Well.. Whats left of the machine- it could possible ecplode again, or just fall over- either way, it risks injury-
Catalina: i'd know if it were to fall..... and although it might not look all that structurally sound-- it could only fall with force
Catalina: *sighs* Edison....... your build isn't going to fall unless someone tries to make it fall.... and that's not going to happen
Edison: doesnt matter, still taking precautions. Besides, I dotn apreciate people finding intrest in my machines.. Expecially the ones that have either exploded or dont yet have a purpose-- ow.. -he keeps his hand over the injury on his side- ....
Catalina: and i don't like people kidnapping me so that i can make them something........ but you don't see me complaining. and do something about your wound.... it looks unbearably painful
Edison: ...what does kidnapping have to do with this..? A-also it isnt that bad.. I'll handle it later..
Catalina: to ansrew your question it has to do with complaining about random things...... and you should handle it now
Catalina: your side was pierced.... that isn't too good.... and if you're going to be so stubborn i'll drag you to a hospital myself
Edison: no- also im not beingg stubborn- I-its pwrfectly fine and i-im used to it by now..
Catalina: well if it's happened so many times before..... then you could actually die the next time it happens! because if it happens almost as soon as you fix this thing it will open back up the wound!
