"I already sent in the application forms. It's a pretty decent robotics school and I'll be taking a creative writing class too. You're pretty good at coding, I bet you could get in." Dirk muttered, looking to the other, his hand held John's tightly, he squeezed it. "We both know I'm utter shit at coding. Illinois is probably the best option for you," John looked to meet Dirk, he grinned slightly, his eyebrows knitted with traces of despair, "you said it when we first got together: this can't last forever." Dirk’s lips turned, a frown stretching across his pale complexion. He knew John was trying to hold it together, trying to force him to hold it together. "You don't have to pretend like this is okay." Tears began to sting against Dirk’s already weak expression, he tried to sniff them back up, and he hugged John tight. John froze for a moment, but he began to weep, their arms wrapped around one another in the brief embrace.
