"Hey it's alright, it was just a nightmare, I'm here now.", you tried putting a smile on your face just to see happy, but it didn't work. "Is there something else that happened, do you wanna tell me?", you looked up at him with worried eyes, you want to tell him but then again, you don't want him worrying. You looked away and layed your head against his chest, "No, nothing else happend." He knew you were lying, but he didn't try to push you anymore. You both finished breakfast and went to get dressed for today. Marcus took his shower first, then it was your turn. Marcus laughed as you walked out the bathroom, your wet hair was covering your face and you struggled as you tried to move it out of the way.

He chuckled and walked over to you, he lifted the hair out of your face and leaned down to kiss you. A moment of silence occurred before you both went to get dressed, you got dressed in the room while Marcus was in the bathroom. You rummaged through the closet until you found your favorite shirt, so many memories filled your head when holding it. You grabbed grabbed a pair of shorts and hurried up and got dressed. You turned around and saw Marcus struggling to brush his long hair, you walked over and grabbed the brush from him.

He sat on the bed and you got behind him on your knees to brush his hair, you always had fun helping him with his hair. It made you feel calm inside, you felt so much joy being around Marcus, and he felt the same for you. After a while, you started humming a tune and Marcus gladly noded along, you finished up with a pretty braid in his hair and have a himna big hug from behind. "Y/n, what do you feel like doing today, the park is looking pretty nice.", you thought to yourself and gasped when you thought of something, you've been wanting to ask him for a while but never got a chance to.

"How about we go to the pet shop, I've always wanted to see all the cute animals we could get!", Marcus groaned and held onto your arm, you knew this was gonna happened but you patted his head to calm him down. "I-I not too...good with animals, what if I hurt it?", you sat beside and held his hands, "It's alright, you're not like that anymore. If I'm still here, then I'm sure you can manage pet. You've changed." You moved his hair away from his face to give him a kiss on the forehead, he blushed and pulled you in close. "I'm still worried something might go wrong, but if it makes you happy, I'll try, just for you."

You soon both embraced each other in a warm hug and sat there for a bit. You looked up and checked the time, it's 5:00, you jumped up and pulled Marcus off of the bed. The pet shop closes in an hour and you both rushed out the door in a hurry, you laughed seeing Marcus trying to catch up with you. Finally, you both made it to the pet shop breathless and gasping for air, you both caught your breath before heading inside. It was a bit crowded with so many animals, birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, everything you could think of! You looked around some more and noticed that Marcus was standing in place, he looked so frightened.

You walk over to him and grab his hand, letting him know that everything is ok. He nods and folllows you around looking at all of the different animals. Something caught your eyes, far in the back of the shop sat a furry little animal curled up. You couldn't tell what it was so walked closer to it, it lifted his head up and its eyes met yours. It was a German shepherd, it looked a bit young but old at the same time, the shopkeeper turned to where you were and walked over to you. "I see you've found one of my loners, he's been here for a while now, poor thing hasn't seen people in forever."

You kneeled down and placed your hand out to let him sniff you, he lifted his head up to your hand and sniffed it curiously. With a bit of struggling, he got up walked closer to you, you noticed that he only has three legs, you felt so sad seeing him struggle to walk over to you. You gave him a few pats and motioned for Marcus to come over and pet him. You could feel fear and worry in Marcus' eyes, even if you didn't see them. "Its alright, I know you can do it!", you smiled and continued to pet the dog. Marcus cautiously walked over to the dog and kneeled down to pet him, you could see his hand shaking but rubbed his shoulder comforting him. He smiled and ran his hands through the dogs shaggy fur, you can feel Marcus starting to settle down.

You both chuckled as the dog walked circles around you to, it seemed like he was smiling each time he passed you. The shopkeeper fixed his glasses and smiled as you both played with the dog, "Well, it looks like he's taken a fancy to you two." The shopkeeper went back to the counter to get everything ready, you and Marcus both looked at each other and smiled, you both knew this was the one. You chuckled seeing Marcus so excited to take him home, you walked over to the counter to pay and take everything home. You could see the dog struggling to keep up with you both so you slowed down to let him catch up.

The day wasnt over yet and there was still more fun to be had, but you kept thinking about that nightmare you had last night. You tried your best to brush it aside, but you knew something wasn't right. What if he really is alive...
