I find it stupid for many reasons, 1.If you love someone, you should give them a gift when you want, or no gift at all because you know the best gift you have is love it's self 2.Love shouldn't be valued with physical items, because love is a greater gift than those items and 3.It does make the certain people whom either get rejected, or those whom don't give a gift lonely and/or heartbroken. but tbh, I don't actually mind being lonely.
