Under the grey sky, and the white sun, Vorvin, the world was still. But out of the dim light, Rivtsi were evolved from the sand and stone. They created great kingdoms out of Divinated Glass, and Reviline Crystals. But suddenly, after many millenia of ruling the sands and oceans of Formir, a new race appeared. When Grivs, Humans, first emerged into the world, they were scared... alone... but they were not powerless. For when the Rivtsi first encountered them, where they offered kinship, they were met with steel and fire... BLACK fire.

For several hundred years, the two races clashed in a bloody war. So many swords clashed, the ringing echoed forever... So many arrows fired, they dot the deserts... And so much blood was spilt, It turned the brightest sand black. The Grivs, for almost the entire war, were ignorant to the Rivtsi's true motives, and fought on. Until, after exactly 573 years, and 58 days, there came the battle to end all battles; the Battle of Grey-Eye Pass. It is here where the Grivs lost the war, and finally yielded. The King of the Grivs, Torfin Vidrossi, met with the Emperor of the Rivtsi, Shillok Milnox, and signed the White Sand Concordant, and stopped any further bloodshed from happening.

And so it has remained for the past 209 years. But, that peace is in danger, due to a new threat: The Red Brand.
