Obi sat underneath a tree with a basket full of stolen pastries beside him. With a book in one hand and a cream puff in the other, he began to enjoy his break from society.
He took a bite into the pastry and chittered in happiness. Pufflings were known for stealing pastries and these were the best he ever had. The tip of his tail patted the ground and made a loud thumping noise.
He jumped and peeked around the trunk of the tree. He got up and hid behind it and watched Ryuu closely.
"Tch." He turned and grabbed his basket and book. He sat back down and pretended that Ryuu didn't exist, putting the basket in his lap. He flipped through the pages and went back to reading and nibbling on pastries.
He looked at him and glared. He growled, even though it wasn't intimidating at all, more like a puppy kind of growl.
He stopped and realized that they weren't his. He hesitantly took it and took a small nibble, then a little bite, then popped the whole thing in his mouth. His tail did the same patty thing it did before. "Who made this?"
He smiled. "I stole these from Mrs. Bleck." He said and handed him a pastel. "It's not a dessert but it is good." He said and put one in his mouth.
"I'm Obi!" He said with a smile. "Mrs. Bleck's cooking is the bessst!" He giggled a bit. "Last week she made calzones and oh my goood..."
"Yeah..." He rubbed his neck and laughed. "We steal a lot of pastries from peope. They're best when they're fresh out of the oven, but kinda hard to carry since they're still hot."
"It's fine, normally the bottoms aren't so hot after running for a while. It took me all day to fill up this basket." He smiled. "Of course that's because I was small at the time."
"Hm? Oh yeah!" He poofed into smoke which quickly cleared and there he was, sitting on top of a macaroon in the basket. He did little jazz hands. "We can do that!"
He gasped. “So cute!!” He shifted back to his normal size and scooped Ryuu up and held him. He made small chittered noises and bounced on his feet.
He took another sweet and took a little nibble, averting his gaze.
He blushed and puffed out his cheeks, taking the macaroons. He put them in his basket. He sat down and set the basket on his side that was facing Ryuu. “You can have anything in there if you want. Some of them are still warm.”
“I-“ He looked down at his lap confused. “Ohhh! I’m so sorry it’s just I never bothered with many people.”
“You got into fights?! How did I never figure out that was you?!”
"I must've been way too invested in my work then.." He leaned back and grabbed a cream puff.
He panicked and it hit his forehead and landed on his leg. “Ah-“
He glared at Ryuu and threw it back at him. “I want answers!”
“What do you meeeann!” He whined and turned his body to face Ryuu.
He blushed lightly. “That’s...really sweet of you.” He said quietly.
He smiled and met his eyes with Ryuu. “No one’s ever done that for me.”

He took Ryuu’s hand in his own and squeezed it a little bit. “I’m gonna feel bad about not doing anything nice for you in return..j-just this once. I’ll do anything you’d like.”

He hesitated before giving Ryuu’s cheek a small peck. He pulled out a pen and wrote his address on Ryuu’s hand. “Write me sometime.” He said and smiled up at him.
He nodded. “Well I better be going now.” He stood up and grabbed his basket and book.
"Oh no! You're fine!" He panicked. "You weren't bothering me, I just need to go take care of my plants. You can come if you'd like."
"Of course!" He gave Ryuu a kind smile and waited for him at the base of the hill.
He squeaked. "L-Let's get going!" He said and started heading towards his house. He lived in a cookie-cutter neighborhood with narrow, german styled homes. He walked into his driveway that was hidden by a hedge wall and he entered his backyard. His backyard looked vibrant, decorated with painted rocks and lawn decorations. He took off his sweater and put on his gloves and apron. "You want a pair?"
He smiled and opened the door, entering the green house. There were plenty of plants everywhere, some bloomed in vibrant colors while others slowly shut their traps on insects. He walked around towards a large flower that had vines spouting out, it was rather odd. "Hello, dearest~" He said as the plants vines wrapped around his torso and arm. He patted a vine with his free hand while another got into his shirt. "Dearest likes to explore new people, so be careful when you turn into your normal form." He squeaked when one got into his pants. He quickly pulled it out. "No, no. We don't go there-"
He turned to look at Ryuu. "Excuse me-" He squeaked again as another vine got under his pants and found it's way into his underwear. "I know you're excited to see me but- a..ah-" He was having a hard time controlling Dearest. This happened a lot but never in front of another person, this embarrassed him more than it normally did.
"Dearest isn't horny she's a p-pl-plant!" He managed to get Dearest out of his pants and he backed up.
“She’s just..uh..touchy feely..” He said with a shaky voice. He pulled at his crinkled pants, red from all of the embarrassment.
He blushed more and pursed his lips. He brushed off his apron and glared at Dearest before he began to water her. His pants felt bunchy and uncomfortable now for some odd reason.
He fully turned his body to face him, backed up against a table where only fertilizer and empty pots sat. He raised a brow and tried to keep his composure.
He gave him a confused look and leaned against the table. He hoped that his apron was covering it so he tried to play it off.
“It wasn’t the plant!” He said as his tail swatted Ryuu’s away. “I’m just touch sensitive and when you said what you said I was caught off-guard and...”
He didn't answer the question and puffed his cheeks, placing one foot out so he could get around Ryuu if he needed to. "Well-"
(I imagine that he has him up against the table)
“I might’ve started thinking things that i shouldn’t have a-and-“
He looked up at him and felt ashamed, looking down at his feet. "I- u-uhm.."
He looked up confused and subconsciously nodded. He tapped his nail against the table nervously.

He stepped to the side a bit, still holding onto the table. He legs were still closed in an awkward manner.
He looked down at Ryuu and smiled. “Okay.” He scooped him up and smiled. “You’re so cute.”

He smiled more and exited the greenhouse. “Do you wanna go inside?”
He went inside and set him down on the couch, sitting next to him. His house was rather cozy and tight, but it just made it made it’s cozy affect better.
“W-What do we do now?” He asked quietly, running his hand down Ryuu’s back.
“N-No..it’s not important.” He said shyly and looked at the floor.
He turned red and scooted back a little. “E-Excuse me?” He said and furrowed his brows, looking back up at Ryuu.
"N-No it's fine!'" He said and sat up on his knees. "P-Please stay.."
He nodded. "I'm sorry for how I'm acting..I uh..just don't know how to..do anything.."
