From making Friends To Making Rivals FlipAnim Was made to find other animators. At first it was fine people were making friends left and right

Before the creation of FlipAnim, Witkowski studied at Bialystok Technical University, the largest technical university in northeast Poland. An ActionScript and Java developer at Webventure S.A. (Warschau, Poland), he'd later become a Java developer at Transition Technologies SA. Founding Poklik, a name under which he show his experiments and projects, most of them for Nokia, Tomasz Witkowski came up with the idea of FlipAnim around February 2016

After making his first animation, Default Avatar, created on his join date, FlipAnim has created over 36 animations. He would later go on to create FlipBird, an animation that shocked all users at the time, being consisted of having a playable game running on FlipAnim. Before creating FlipBird, FlipAnim has created an avatar for the Christmas holiday.

He has fixed various errors and uploaded actual animations over time, such as Pan Bernard and Switch hype!. He also created Let's draw!, which presumably was an anim that made users collaborate and draw with each other. The account was made by Everyone!, but the anim is located on FlipAnim's account, as it is his alternate account.

On the 31st of December, 2018, FlipAnim released and announced the Beta Editor as a New Year's gift for 2019. After some fixing, the Beta Editor has received its second version on the 14th of May in 2019. On the 19th of January, in 2020, FlipAnim has changed the address to a HTTPS code. He would later on add pausing/playing (video formatting). Sometime in April, Images and texts have made its way into anims, using a code via Inspect. This 'hack' was very harmful for the site, so FlipAnim had no choice but to shut down the Old Editor temporarily on the 16th of April, in 2021* (*The old editor was used for the images and texts). He later added blocking to the site.

FlipAnim has an unofficial persona which is drawn by many fans. FlipAnim features a blue outline, referencing his Blah animation, and a full body. He also dawns a crown, meaning that he is the "king" of FlipAnim. FlipAnim himself draws him as a simple blue-outlined face.

FlipAnim was mostly uploading animations in 2017 and 2018. He became less active starting from 2019. His activity is mostly put into fixing his site, as he occasionally announces fixes/updates. FlipAnim barely uploads regular animations as he did before. Users started rumours that he was in the hospital or dead.
